30T Steam Boiler—Application Case for a Large Paper Manufacturing Enterprise

In May 2022, a major paper manufacturing enterprise introduced a 30T gas-fired steam boiler (Model: DZL-30-1.25-A). We completed the equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning, supporting the enterprise in upgrading its production line’s thermal source equipment. The enterprise’s previously used boiler consistently suffered from unstable steam supply, high energy consumption, and frequent maintenance. These issues directly caused uneven paper drying, fluctuating forming results, and reduced production efficiency and product yield rates, prompting the decision to replace it with this new heat source equipment.

The performance specifications of this 30-ton gas-fired steam boiler precisely align with the company’s production requirements. It features a rated evaporation capacity of 30 tons per hour, a rated working pressure of 1.25 MPa, a rated steam temperature of 194°C, and operates on natural gas. With the company’s daily steam demand ranging from 330 to 350 tons, the boiler’s rated evaporation capacity reliably meets this requirement. Additionally, the boiler incorporates high-efficiency combustion technology, significantly improving fuel utilization and ensuring continuous steam output. Pressure fluctuation errors are controlled within ±0.02MPa, perfectly matching the process standards for paper drying and setting operations.

By January 2026, this boiler had maintained continuous, stable operation on the production line for over three years. Actual operational data shows the steam output pressure consistently remained between 1.2 and 1.25 MPa, with pressure fluctuation errors well controlled and never exceeding design specifications. This ensures more uniform paper drying temperatures and more stable forming results, leading to a significant improvement in the company’s product pass rate compared to previous levels. Energy savings are equally impressive, with the boiler achieving thermal efficiency exceeding 92%. Compared to the company’s previous boiler, energy consumption has decreased by 18%, saving 180 cubic meters of natural gas daily. Additionally, the boiler features an automated control system that automatically regulates water level, pressure, and temperature. Combined with our professional technical support, daily maintenance is highly convenient, and maintenance costs remain below industry averages.
